How Can Personal Development Coaching Help Me?
I help people asking the question; "what do I want from this next stage of my life" to create a vision of their future, filed with direction, meaning and purpose.
My focus as a personal development coach is to support people in understanding what they are good at, what motivates them, what they are passionate about, what they value; ultimately to discover their purpose.

Personal Development Coaching (sometimes referred to as life coaching), is exactly that, coaching to develop yourself personally as you live your life. Coaching is goal oriented and future focussed; moving towards what you want in life. To move forward however, you need to understand where you are now and sometimes look at where you have been.
Coaching provides time, space, and the environment to explore your reality, identify options, choices and actions. Coaching can help you understand not just what you think, but how you think. Working with a thinking partner, you can try new things out, experiment and learn. Coaching can enable you to do your best thinking where ultimately, you can identify ways to be your best self.

A discovery call is a conversation for us to get to know each other a little better. It is a space to talk through the subject you wish to bring and explore how coaching could support you. Sometimes called a ‘chemistry session’, this conversation is about establishing if we ‘fit’ as coach and client.
My intention is to provide you with as much value as possible in this session, helping you understand what it's like to work with me and to be coached, so that you can make an informed and empowered decision to invest in your future.
Designing Our Alliance
If we decide to work together, during the first session we would need to spend time designing how we plan to work together. As well as domestics around times, dates etc, it's important to establish how we both need to 'be' to get the very most from the time we spend together. How much challenge is required, what boundaries need to be respected, what you need in a coach to help you do your best thinking to name but a few considerations.
This first session is where the goals for the coaching would also be established as every conversation following this, is designed to help you achieve these goals. The goals are checked in on regularly to get a feel for what progress is being made and to change direction if we need to.
The Conversations - What Should I Expect?
You can expect the conversation to be tailored to you, your specific goals and be free from judgement. You can expect to be challenged in your thinking and pushed out of your comfort zone (subject to our alliance conversation). You can expect me to listen carefully to what you're saying, how you're saying it and listening out for what's not being said. You can expect me to be inquisitive, to offer observations if useful and ask questions that are designed to increase your own awareness. You can expect the conversation to be totally in service of you and likely different to those you have with your friends, family and colleagues.
